RAID 30 implements parity and block striping and byte striping. Also termed as striping of dedicated parity arrays, it is formed by striping the data across several sub-arrays i.e. it is a unique combination of 3 and 0. The data storage on this proceeds by dividing data into several small blocks and then striping them to each member of this set.
